Who We Are
As our Mission Statement explains, we are a group of teachers and practitioners dedicated to spreading the joy of Michael Chekhov's acting technique. Our objective is to gently guide actors and students to help them activate their imaginations. In doing so, fascinating and unique characterizations emerge.
We believe strongly in working as an ensemble, striving to make the individual strong by making the ensemble strong. Through creative exercises, guided improvisations, and developing the psychophysical process, the actor learns to apply Chekhov's teaching to any theatrical genre and style of acting.
It can be seen in all our bios that each and every teacher is a committed professional in acting, directing, and teaching.
We invite you to join us. We are planning many brief and extended workshops in the Great Lakes Region. Send us an e-mail from our contact us page.
