Brian Sage (he/him) is the Artistic Director of Tibbits Summer Theatre in Coldwater MI, Company Manager at Tipping Point Theatre in Northville MI, and a freelance actor, director, and educator.
Brian first experienced the Michael Chekhov Technique as an MFA candidate at Wayne State University under the direction of Founding Artistic Director Emeritus Lavinia Hart. Curiosity led him to GLMCC where he was able to witness and experience the true power, joy, and creativity of the technique in application. He earned certification in 2017.
Brian was responsible for integrating the technique as a core component of the acting curriculum at Ohio Northern University and continues to practice and share the technique as an actor, director, and educator.
