Carolina Morones is a freelance actor, writer and teacher focused on telling stories that empower through poetry and movement. She currently is a faculty member for American Conservatory Theatre’s Studio-ACT (San Francisco, CA) and long-time company member at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (Ashland, OR).
Carolina first experienced the Michael Chekhov Technique as an undergraduate student at Santa Clara University under the direction of GLMCC Founding Artistic Director Emeritus, Mark Monday. Inspired and in awe of the technique she continued her exploration by attending conferences, workshop and eventually choosing Kent State University's MFA Acting program to dive even deeper into the technique. She is proud to be part of the first GLMCC class earning her certificate of completion in 2013.
Carolina has been commissioned by the Rainin Foundation’s New & Experimental Works Program (2024-2025) in collaboration with San Francisco Shakespeare Festival as a lead artist and writer.
