Meaghen Quinn is an Actor, Intimacy Director, Movement Coach, and Drama Professor at the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She holds an M.F.A. in Acting from Pennsylvania State University and a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from the University of Windsor.
Meaghen is working on her third year of the Feldenkrais Institute of Ann Arbor’s practitioner program, and recently completed IDC’s Level III Intimacy Director training taught by Claire Warden and Cha Ramos.
She completed her certification in the Michael Acting Technique through the Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium in 2016 and joined the organization as an Associate teacher in 2022. Meaghen finds the Michael Chekhov Acting technique a full bodied alternative that offers a variety of tools to activate the imagination, spark sensation and feeling, while allowing the actor to “burn inside with an outer ease” (Chekhov).
She feels that the GLMCC community (and Summer Intensive) offer a supportive and playful environment to experiment with tools while allowing for a joy filled escape from the grind of the industry.
