Jennifer Tuttle

Associate Teacher

Jennifer Tuttle is an Assistant Professor of Acting at The City College of New York/CUNY, where she teaches all levels of Acting, Directing and Voice. Jennifer received her MFA in Theatre/Acting from the Hilberry Theatre at Wayne State University, and her Certification as a Teacher of the Michael Chekhov Technique from the Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium. She has studied Voice with Andrew Wade (RSC), Patsy Rodenburg and Kristen Linklater, and at the Linklater Center in New York City. Jennifer also earned a certificate in Acting from the Moscow Art Theatre School (MHAT). She has been a professional actor and director for over 20 years, and is a proud member of AEA (Actors' Equity Association).

Her recent projects include: directing a new piece, Apple Table Penny, by Peter Levine which headlined Emerging Artists Theatre’s New Work Series in NYC, directing the musical Urinetown for CCNY, directing and dramaturging a bilingual version of Much Ado About Nothing called Much Ado Para Nada, adapted by Bernardo Mazon, for Shakespeare in Detroit, and directing a devised piece, Immigration Stories for the Culture Project’s Women Center Stage in NYC. Jennifer also served as Co-Chair and host of the StateraArts Foundation’s 2019 National Conference, held at The City College of New York.
